Ackerman, William H., Tonawanda, junior member of the firm of H. B. Koenig & Co., is a son of Gottlieb and
Christina (Mayer) Ackerman, and was born in the village of Tonawanda, Angust 17, 1866. He attended the public schools,
afterwards taking a full course at Bryant & Stratton's Business College. In 1888 he became a member of the
now well known hardware firm of H. B. Koenig & Co. Mr. Ackerman is a member of a number of societies, being
president of the Rovers' Bicycle Club. He is an upright gentleman and a business man of great executive ability
