Edmonds, Horace M., Tonawanda, was born in the town of Edinburgh, Saratoga county, November 3, 1858. He was
the son of John G. Edmonds, one of the successful farmers of the town. The family trace their descent from English
ancestors and were among the earliest settlers of the colonies. Horace M. Edmonds was educated in Beilville, Mich.,
and in 1882 entered the Bellevue Hospital Medical College, New York city, from which he graduated in 1885, and
then came to Tonawanda and established his present practice. In 1888 he married Miss Lucy P., daughter of Dr. W.
D. Murray, who was one of the leading physicians of Erie county. To Mr. and Mrs. Edmonds were born one son and
one daughter.
