Goldsmith, E. F., Brant, was born in Philadelphia, Pa., in 1852 and in 1879 came to Erie county, N. Y., settling in Brant, where he has since been a large and successful fruit farmer. He married Arrilla, daughter of John Ash, and they have two sons: Harry and Herbert. Mr. Goldsmith is prominently identified with the M. E. church and Sunday school of Brant and is a member of the Sunday School Association of Brant and Evans. He has always taken a keen though quiet interest in the public affairs of the town.
