Reinecke, Ottomar, Buffalo, one of the proprietors of the Buffalo Freie Press. daily and weekly, and Sunday Tribune, was born at Sondershausen, Germany, November 20, 1840. In 1852 his parents came to America and settled in Buffalo. Two years after their arrival his father started a printing office and he was associated with his father in business until the death of the latter in 1866, when he took charge of the business and the following year he formed a copartnership with Frank H. Zesch, which copartnership still exists. Mr. Reinecke was appointed park commissioner by Mayor Jewett, January 1, 1896, for a period of four years.
