Slada, John, Evans, was born in Germany in 1837 and came to America in 1857; where he began life by working
by the month. In 1866 he bought the farm of 118 acres where he now resides, and has cleared it up and improved
it, until he has one of the best farms of the town, and is one of the best farmers. He has one son, Charles, who
is in the livery business in Buffalo, and two daughters. Mr. Slada by hard work and economy has become one of the
best farmers of the town.
