Watt, A. J., Evans, p. o. Angola, was born in Silver Creek in 1861 and is the son of William Watt, who came
from Scotland when a young man and was a farmer and died in Irving. Mr. A. 3. Watt, after obtaining a common school
education, entered the machine shop at Silver Creek, where he learned the machinist's trade, which he followed
until 1893, when he had accumulated enough money to enable him to come to Angola and purchase the Union Hotel,
which he now runs as a popular place for commercial men and the public in general.
