Nathaniel Fuller commanded a vessel during the Revolutionary war,. was taken prisoner by the British, and the
ship on which he was being sent to England was lost at sea. His son, James Fuller, a native of Ipswich, Mass.,
was born in 1770, settled in Bristol, N. H., where he married Hannah Kidder, and removed in 1815 to Elba, this
county. His children were Daniel, Hibbard, Joel, John, James, Emily, Holland, and Mary. Holland married Betsey,
daughter of George and Sally (Cleaveland) Driggs, of Elba. He was a farmer in Oakfield, and died in 1873, aged
75 years. His children were Sarah C., Franklin J., George D., and. Charles H. George D. Fuller married Mary J.,
daughter of John M. Catherine and (Page) Sleeper, of Elba (formerly of Grafton, N. H.). They have six children:
Minnie C. (who married Clark Parker, now of Elba, and had one child, Alice M.), George M., Holland, John M., Marion,
and James E. George D. Fuller is a farmer and has lived 53 years in this town.
