Rice Baldwin, of Connecticut. came to Elba in 1825, where he died in 1874, aged 72 years. He married Phebe McCrillus, and their children were Milton, Aaron, Elvira, Eunice, Janette, Eleanor, Joanna, and William H. He married for his second wife Lucy Wheelock, of Batavia, and their children were Henry, Adelbert, Charity, Albert, Francis, Freedus, and Belle. William H. Baldwin was born in Elba, January 28, 1828, and came to Batavia in 1883. He married Mrs. Jane M. Storms, daughter of Henry and Jane (West) Edgerton. Their children are Phebe J. and Lillian E. The first husband of Mrs. Storms was John C. Storms, and their children were Mary E. and John C., Jr. Mr. Baldwin has been engaged in farming, but is now retired and lives in Batavia village. His age is 62 years, and that of. his wife is 6o years. Mary E. Storms married John M. McKenzie, of Wisconsin, son of John and Eunice (Baldwin) McKenzie. They live in Batavia and have one daughter, Bessie L.
