Ahl, Charles, p. o. West Bethany, N. Y., son of John O. and Elizabeth (Clor) Ahl, was born in the town of Orangeville,
Wyoming county. N. Y., April 20, 1841. His parents were natives of France and on coming to this country settled
in Buffalo, where his father carried on a tailoring business for a number of years. He subsequently removed to
Wyoming county, where he resided until his death. Charles Ahl has always been engaged in farming. On April 10,
1873, he married Barbara Markley; they have three children: Arthur, John W. and Albert J. Mr. Ahl is an industrious
and enterprising citizen.
