Anthony, Paul, p. o. Oakfield, N. Y., was born in Jefferson county, N. Y., April 25, 1823, a son of Dryers and
Rachel (Winner) Anthony, was educated in the common schools and has always been a farmer. He had the mail contract
from Batavia to Albion for a time and has been trustee of schools for five years. He married Emily, daughter of
William Childs; they have three children: Sophy, Alice and Charles. Mr. Anthony is one of the leading farmers of
Oakfield, and enjoys the respect of the community.
