Armstrong, Addison, p. o. Oakfield N.Y., was born in Monroe county, N.Y., October 12, 1826, a son of Laurens Armstrong, and was educated at Cary Collegiate Seminary. His first wife was Nancy, daughter of John Smith of Oakfield, and his second wife was Jane, daughter of Henry and Elizabeth Pask. His children are: Mrs. Mary L. Taylor, John S., Elizabeth A. and Fanny N. Mr. Armstrong served as supervisor for the years 1860 and 1861. He always took an intelligent interest in public affairs and was a man of sterling integrity. He died June 14, 1898.
