Cook, Homer, p. o. Pavilion, N.Y., was born January 14, 1841, a son of Ambrose and Betsey (Beckwith) Cook, and
received his education at the Burley Hill School. He has always resided on the farm where he was born, and is still
engaged in that occupation and fruit growing. His farm contains 140 acres, of which twenty acres are devoted to
apple orchard and thirteen acres to pears. His buildings are exceptionally fine, consisting of four barns, a fruit
house and other necessary outbuildings. Politically he is a Republican.
