Kellogg, Charles F., is a native of Pavilion, Genesee county, N. Y., born in 1869, and educated in the high
school and Le Roy Academic Institute. For eleven years he was with F. E. Wooding, dry goods merchant of Le Roy.
On August 1, 1896, he purchased his present business. He represents some of the leading insurance companies in
the world, among which are the Aetna of Hartford, Continental, N. Y.; Franklin, Philadelphia; Glens Falls, N. Y.:
Hartford of Hartford, Home of New York; Liverpool, London & Globe, London Assurance, North British & Mercantile,
Orient of Hartford, Providence of Washington, Queen Ins. of America, Springfield Fire & Marine, and the Sun
of London. He also deals in real estate. He carries pianos, organs, musical instruments, etc., and is organist
in St. Mark's Episcopal Church. The Oatman family, who were massacred by the Indians in the early days, were relatives
of the Kellogg family by marriage.
