Parker, Frank J., was born in Batavia, N. Y., April 13, 1818. son of Jeremiah
and Roby (Newell) Parker. His father, Jeremiah, was a native of Massachusetts and in 1805 settled in Genesee county,
where he was a farmer; he died in Pontiac, N.Y., in March, 1836. Frank J. Parker received his education in the
common schools. In 1841 he married Nancy, daughter of David Church, who passed away October 9, 1859; they were
the parents of seven children, five of whom survive: Frank A., Jane, Roby, Addie and Flora He afterwards married
Sarah, daughter of Denning Bartholomew. Mr. Parker was one of the pioneers of Genesee county and through his long
life has been a farmer, in which occupation he has been successful. In the community where he resides he is respected
and esteemed for his many good qualities.
