Heeney, P., was born in Albany, March 21, 1863, a son of John Heeney, a native of Ireland, who came to the United
States and settled in Albany, and in 1866 came to Ballston, where he was identified as a farmer and teamster. He
died January 14, 1898. Mr. P. Heeney was educated in the public schools, and engaged in the livery business, establishing
his present business in 1891. Mr. Heeney is one of the selfmade men of his town, serving as constable, street and
water commissioner. He takes an active interest in school and church matters and has ever advanced the best interests
of his town and townspeople.
