Carpenter, Frederic M., son of John M. and Amanda J. (Graves) Carpenter, was born in the city of Watertown,
February 14, 1860. After finishing his schooling he entered the employ of his father as a bookkeeper and continued
in that capacity until 1893, when he became a member of the firm of Bergivan, Carpenter & Co., of which he
is now a member. Mr. Carpenter is a young man of excellent business ability and is esteemed by all who know him.
