Ferrin, Henry F., a native of Vermont, was born in 1837. In 1840 he removed with his parents to Watertown, where
he attended the public schools. At the early age of sixteen he succeeded his father in business (who was engaged
in the marble business) and has since conducted the business with marked success. This is the oldest house of the
kind under one management in New York State. The premises occupied are large and commodious and a full force of
marble cutters, sawyers and polishers are busy at all times. Mr. Ferrin is enterprising, progressive, and well
merits the success he has achieved.
