Kenyon, George S., was born in Clayton, December 7, 1866, a son of Albert L. and Elizabeth J. (Roselle) Kenyon.
He was educated in Clayton and the Oswego Normal School, from which he was graduated in 1885. He then went into
the planing mill business and subsequently branched out into contracting and building in 1894. He has done a great
deal of excellent and important work and can handle contracts of any magnitude. The Wykoff cottage on Carleton
Island and the residence of G. H. McKinley are elegant illustrations of his work. On September 6, 1894, Mr. Kenyon
married Edna Rees, and they have one daughter, Harriet Lucile.
